Welcome to WELL Africa

Millions of children around the world are caught in the destructive cycle of child slavery. They live and work in extreme conditions without pay, and most do not receive an education. Many of these children work in cocoa plantations in the Ivory Coast, the largest chocolate producer in the world. Very few of us realize that our chocolate is produced by forced labor. What can we do to stop this negative cycle so prevalant in the world around us?

WELL Africa: World Education for Illiteracy of Liberty.

The mission of WELL Africa is to empower children aged five to fourteen working in the cocoa plantations, and the communities in which they live, through education.
